A DAILY TIME WITH GOD

The Purpose:

“…Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” JAMES 4:8

The Practice:

“Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a

solitary place, where He prayed.” MARK 1:35

The Promise:

“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners

take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who

meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which

yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.” PS 1:1-3

Commitment #2 PUT GOD FIRST WITH MY MONEY

A WEEKLY TITHE TO GOD

The Purpose:

“…where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” MATTHEW 6:21

The Practice:

“On the first day of every week, set aside some of what you have earned and give it as an

offering. The amount depends on how much the Lord has helped you earn.” 1 COR 16:2

The Promise:

“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running

over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured

back to you.” LUKE 6:38
